Early in the Hearing I commented ..

on the wonderful job Dick Durbin did with his questioning of Kavenaugh!

When the Hearing came to order after a break. 2 Dem. Senators ..Blumenthal and Coons seemed very meek and were constantly interrupted by the Repub. Members. It seemed to me that they were compliant with every rule, but Repubs kept interrupting. in the matter in which they only can.. Only once did I hear Dem ask to reclaim their time..

My point.. My God, we need tougher Senators on our side of the ally.. Sure we have a lot of good ones but my point.. We need to start electing people (men and woman) who know how to play hardball and not sit there passively when Repubs are pushing them around.. Yea I know we're in the minority, but please start showing some strong passion!

Update; Corey Booker is Terrific today.. Finally!

Unrec. Coons and Blumenthal have their own style. Doesn't mean they aren't "tough" emulatorloo Sep 2018 #3

Soft-voiced Dems to fight for my rights in the face of racist, misogynist republicans!
