Funny - I am not so much bothered/worried by RMoneyAynRand as I am offended.

In my heart of hearts, I think that the absolute emptiness of Mitt, the incredible wrong-ness of Ryan, and the breathtaking offense that we are about to see coming from the Obama team will reignite voter enthusiasm and take the election results beyond the ability of voter disenfranchisement and machine manipulations to impact - in other words, I do think the lead will be too big to cheat/steal.

However - I am deeply offended by the fact that the opposing ticket even exists....and sickened (if not already, soon to be) by the way the media will do whatever it can, through false equivalence or flat out alchemy, to either keep it close or give the illusion that it is so.

And all for greed and protecting the big money.

I suspect that Obama's juggernaut will be overwhelming. In fact, I cannot wait to see it!

This ticket exposes some ugly realities in this country. It shows how toxic the GOP has become. Mitt Romney has used an out and out dog whistle, he really can't hide behind "My adviser said it not me" because the fact is that unnamed adviser is still on his staff. That coupled with "if you want free stuff vote for the other guy" clinches the fact that Mitt Romney is a racist. I wouldn't doubt if you scratch the surface of Paul Ryan you will find the same thing.

Then there is this whole welfare senior citizens meme that Ryan has going on. That greedy seniors are ruining the budget. Give me a break. They don't even talk about the bloated MIC. It never occurs to them if we cut back our military to say levels of the next top 5 countries rather than the next 13, we might get some of this out of control spending down without having to put seniors in a precarious place economically.

Paul Ryan adores Ayn Rand who herself became a charity case. The irony is disgusting in this case.

9. Spot on. I've been reading a lot about Ayn Rand lately. She was a real pip, a total sociopath and.

Swooning over Ryan. I don't see that changing over the next few weeks.

Edwards and Biden were attacked by the same rw panels that have been fawning over Ryan all weekend.

Picking Eddie Munster was a sign that team Willard is preparing for the worst and need to pump up rushpublican voting as high as possible. Without the teabaggers and Paulbots showing up, the real goal of the Roves, Kochs and the TRUE powers inside the rushpublican party: holding the House and taking the Senate.

While I have heard of wingnuts saying they won't vote for Willard they will show up to vote downticket and Democrats have to work real hard to prevent an even more obstructionist legislative next year...time to focus on the local races.

Their delusion is thinking that their failed trickle down, feed money to the richest people and corporations worked. They don't realize how badly they ruined this beautiful country. So now they are doubling down on Reagan/Bush with this completely inadequate ticket.......and they're going to lose........badly.

We still, however, need to get out the vote. We need a Democratic House and Senate. We need to rid the logjam of republicans filibustering everything that would get this country continuing on the right track to jobs, universal healthcare, reduced military presence, and a strong social safety net, and more liberal judges in all courts.

What you said about the opposing ticket - that is sooooo spot on.

I hope you are right about re-igniting the enthusiasm.

Now half the country thinks compassion is a sign of weakness. The Vulture/Voucher Ticket is Exhibit A of our nation's new love affair with "let your neighbor suffer, who the hell cares about them anyway."
They're wrong. Period.

"Meet The Press" was a disgrace. But then, when is it not?

And they wonder why their ratings took a dive.

Expect to see Rachael devote a scathing segment,...but never Mention David Gregory.
