I'm so proud of our Women! My Mother was really into getting Title IX passed, I had a sister seriously into swimming.

8. What a difference a couple generations make...

I am 61 and was never personally into sports but I watched and enjoyed Olympics. I had two sons who did not get heavily into sports but did play. I now have 2 grandsons and a 3 year old granddaughter and I find myself musing that my granddaughter will either be a ballet dancer or a hockey player (or maybe both). Her 6 year old brother was grinning at me last week at the Mall of America restaurant when his mother told me that they had to pull her off of him after he headbutted her during a disagreement. And that is AOK. Both boys are in soccer, softball or T-ball this year. We had all gone to see the aquarium.
