Republican Senate/WH cover-up is another reason to take back the House and Senate next month

If this cabal forces Kavanaugh onto the Court, the House can hold hearings, subpoena witnesses, hold in contempt anyone who refuses to cooperate and, if warranted, launch impeachment proceedings against Kavanaugh. And the Senate can remove him from the bench.

But only if controlled by the Democrats.

1. If you could get 67 senators to agree that water is wet I would be stunned.

There is no impeachment and removal scenario that is even remotely plausible...there is a better chance of me being nominated to fill the next vacancy than of seeing Kavanaugh or anyone else actually removed...this is true of POTUS as well. Even if Mueller finds that Putin was in a room with Trump receiving services and handing over handfuls of cash to help him win, nothing will happen.

Kavanaugh is lying. Anyone being honest and non-partisan saw that on Thursday.
Flake is being duplicitous - giving legitimacy to the Kavanaugh circus by agreeing to force the investigation and then falling silent as it is compromised and controlled by the White House.

Win the House and hold endless hearings and we make Trump a martyr to his delusional base and the evangelical X-tians that love them some control over women's bodies, but hates them some children out of wedlock to care for or prevent from being raised into a life of crime by lack of options.

The whole thing is rotted to the core and the time is rapidly approaching that a decision will be forced to go down with the broken system or demand a new one replace the old because it has become beyond repair.

2. True - Removal is very unlikely. But it is possible.

And I'm not suggesting "endless hearings." But, even absent removal from office, hearings and an in-depth investigation that, if nothing else, reveals to the public exactly who this person is and what Trump and the Republicans did to force him on to the Court, are warranted.
