Location Information Matters in Thread Titles. E.G.: My Father Was Born in Cleveland.

Cleveland, Oklahoma. Little town on the Arkansas River, not far from Tulsa. But nobody who didn't click on the title would know that. if you're posting something about a place, add the state. That will get you more clicks than if you leave it out.

Look at a place name like "Springfield." There's one in almost every state. MA? MO? IL? Which Springfield? You might live in a Springfield or near one. You know exactly the one you're talking about. But nobody else does.

If location matters enough to be mentioned, providing enough information to let people know which Springfield you're talking about will provide clues to casual DUers. Then, they'll click on your post to see what it is you have to say. Leave the state out, and a lot of people will just keep looking at thread titles and miss yours.
