Why didn't Rachel or Lawrence talk about this? I am dumbfounded.

(38,539 posts)I think the media are reluctant to "grant" credibility to a rising center of attention. His frequently correct predictions and obvious ego are causing a kind of cognitive dissonance. Not to mention there are plenty of egos standing about.

(46 posts)Other than saying that she recalls seeing Kavanaugh at these parties where terrible things happened, she couldn't say that she personally witnessed Kavanaugh doing anything bad himself. It was just weak.
This new affidavit is different because the witness is claiming she personally saw Kavanaugh spike punch.
If Avanetti only just became aware of this new witness, or this witness only now was willing to come forward, then he couldn't have released this until now and I hold him blameless.
But if he could have released this earlier, he made a big mistake in waiting!
