Republican enthusiasm about voting is down a bit this week and the Democratic lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot has expanded to ten-points.
During a full week of polling from October 7-12, 2018, ScottRasmussen.com found that 50% of the nations most likely voters would vote for the Democrat from their district while 40% would vote for the Republican. Thats up from an eight point Democratic advantage last week and nine points from the week before.
The survey also found that 3% would vote for some other party and 7% are not sure (see crosstabs).
ScottRasmussen.com currently defines a likely voter as those who say they are Definitely going to vote as likely voters. Currently 66% of Democrats say they will definitely vote. Thats unchanged from a week ago. This week, however, the number of Republicans who will definitely vote fell two points to 64%
