'CENSORSHIP is to sharing opinions as LYNCHING is to justice!' Sarah Palin blasts Instagram for removing meme of her son with Down Syndrome that she used to mock liberal protesters
*Instagram removed Palin's post Friday for violating 'community guidelines'
*She had posted a picture of her son Trig crying in a meme mocking liberals
*Drew furious accusations that she was demeaning people with Down Syndrome
*Now Palin accused Instagram and parent company Facebook of liberal bias
Sarah Palin has slammed Instagram as biased against conservatives after the company removed a controversial image she posted which used her own son with Down Syndrome to mock liberal protesters.
Palin posted the meme to her Instagram page on Tuesday, and the company removed it on Friday for violating 'community guidelines' after intense outcry over the image.
The image showed heroic female warriors with the label 'What protestors [sic] think we see', contrasted with pictures of Palin's 10-year-old son Trig melting down with the label 'What we really see'.
In a new post on Friday, Palin shared the takedown notice from Instagram and excoriated the company and parent firm Facebook in a lengthy diatribe accusing them of censorship and political bias.

(40,212 posts)She cant see how she violated her own childs dignity by posting a photo of him crying and upset and using that to define democrats and liberals. She used her own child as the negative example. Sadly she is too dim to figure that out.
He is a cute boy, too bad his mom is a jerk.

(24,259 posts)I know true "Mama Bear" types, my daughters are two of them and you can be absolutely certain they wouldn't mock or make fun of their child or any one else's child like Palin did her son. IMO it's a type of shaming which is a type of bullying and abuse.
This doesn't even address those like her who think that their 1st Amendment's Freedom of Speech right to say pretty much whatever they want to includes doing so anywhere they please. It doesn't.
And wth is it with this racist "lynching" bs? Oh that's right, Palin's just another RW racist POS.

People misinterpreted the image.
I agree with her.

(1,017 posts)Some did on purpose for political reasons because she's Republican.
I think she's wrong that Twitter did though. They just overreact to anything that seems like its discrimination.

(29,322 posts)I'm glad I didn't grow up with someone like that. Her son has down syndrome which makes it even worse for what she is doing but glad she was never my parent.

(1,017 posts)This is not political though, except by a lot of the people complaining, it's a case of being oversensitive. I hope they put it back up.

(29,322 posts)By mocking her son as a meme to make a point about liberals.
I don't have a problem with speaking my mind without breaking the rules and it is much easier to get a post deleted here than social media.

These people are nauseating along with those that support them.

Misogyny is ugly no matter where it comes from.
Its okay just to say she is a vile human being.
