Des Moines Register endorses straight Democratic ticket

GOP has failed to govern.

bashes Steve King for consorting with European fascists (somebody listened)

This one’s a no-brainer for any Iowan who has cringed at eight-term incumbent King’s increasing obsession with being a cultural provocateur. In his almost 16 years in Congress, King has passed exactly one bill as primary sponsor, redesignating a post office. He won’t debate his opponent and rarely holds public town halls. Instead, he spends his time meeting with fascist leaders in Europe and retweeting neo-Nazis.

Damn, history would tell ya that GOPers don't care to governor nor do they care about everyday USA's citizens. All they care about is the rich and how the fuck everybody else.

a group (Iowa Republicans), then they agreed to accept the leader who arose (Steve King), then they adopted HIS "values," or more likely dutifully supported whatever he did without understanding his goals, because that's what followers of leaders do.

This dynamic has been proven and reproven by research, and it's not limited to conservatives, others follow this pattern also -- to varying degrees. But fascism is an archconservative phenomenon, so King's Iowa constituents have been sending a fascist to congress to "represent" them and supporting his choices.

Think about this and take a good look at Trump's followers. (!)

King's protection of the Devin Nunes family farms in Iowa. They employ illegals, yet King never mentions that. One reporter was threatened, followed around when he tried to investigate this. King loudly denigrates illegals, yet in his own state, they are immune if they work for republican sympathizers. I do not care if there are illegals working on farms, jobs others do not want, but King is so loudly against them in all places except Iowa. Hypocrite.

They managed to survive the surgery, but a dirty rotten shame that they both came out of it with only half a brain!
