Climate Change: Marco Rubio and his denial about it with Jake Tapper this morning

He actually believes man will be able to mitigate the current and ongoing threat. Refuses to push for any legislation that would hurt Florida's economy.

That is how owned the cons are, no matter what occurred with the category near enough to 5 and all the damage, they will not change on policy.

Just like the NRA stronghold.

I really was hoping to see him leave politics in 2016. Then out of nowhere he changes his mind and decides to run for re-election.

Republicans had no one besides Scott, and he wasn't running until this year.

GOP elite know that climate change is real, but, they have been lying to their voter base for so many decades that they can’t admit anything openly anymore. They have convinced themselves that they can eat out a few more years in power and sock away millions from their industry donors, then leave the mess for others.

If the global infrastructure collapses because of the effects of climate change, there really won't be anyone safe or fine. If the earth doesn't get them, earthlings who are desperately looking to stay alive will.

Arrogance is the human trait that will sink our species. We can speculate and formulate with science, what we think will happen, but we really do not know what, how quickly, and how intense the changes will become once we hit the tipping point. We also underestimate what desperate people will do when they no longer have clean water and food.

They are willing to take the risk like many of us are willing to take the risk of sitting down at a roulette table thinking we can beat the odds.

Those who will be dead within 40 years and can live anywhere they want in the meantime are not in much danger. Many island and poverty-stricken countries are totally screwed, of course.

Rubio is essentially saying "I don't believe in man made climate change, but man can fix it. Also, do go asking for more funding to fix it because that's not going to happen."

His attempts to sound "moderate" a so ridiculous.
