White Woman calls police on black man entering his own luxury condo building..

ST. LOUIS - Cellphone footage captured a confrontation between two tenants where a woman stopped a man from entering his downtown loft and demands proof he lives there.

D'Arreion Toles was returning home from a late night at the office when a tenant who lives on the third floor of Elder Shirt Lofts created a roadblock.

In the viral video, Toles can be heard telling the woman, "You are blocking me into my building. This is my building as well. So, I need you to get out of my way."

The woman then begins to questions Toles by asking what unit he lives in.

UPDATE: Becky Building Guard was fired...

The full statement released by Tribeca-STL can be read here:

Tribeca-STL was recently shared a video containing a disturbing interaction that we believe is important to clarify.
The video did involve one of our employees, but the event did NOT take place at Tribeca-STL and did NOT involve one of our tenants. The video is showing the employee in her private life at her own residence interacting with another person.

The Tribeca-STL family is a minority-owned company that consists of employees and residents from many racial backgrounds. We are proud of this fact and do not and never will stand for racism or racial profiling at our company.
After a review of the matter the employee has been terminated and is no longer with our Company. At Tribeca-STL we want all residents, guests and visitors to feel welcome, safe and respected.

arrogant or entitled. She's almost certainly a minimum wage worker who is required to defer to everyone, including black tenants, and I'm pretty sure she does not. Her behavior probably arises from poor self esteem and targeted resentment in a person who is not nice to begin with.

I also think it's interesting that she confronted a man of any color alone at night, suggesting she knew perfectly well he wasn't a strange intruder.

Of course using the police maliciously against other people is a crime in every precinct in the nation. But it's extremely common, and jailing everyone who does it -- most stupid people who refuse to see that they've done anything wrong -- would be so counterproductive that it's usually handled without arrest. If these police are at all conscientious, she will have been warned.

She's also been fired from her nothing job and the tenant, who IS comparatively highly entitled, apologized to.

I was wrong to assume she was a building guard from a comment, but there is nothing entitled about being immediately fired for something that was not directly related to her work and having to be apologized for both at home and work. Such a shame this got to her ex- employers, who take pride in diversity in their employees and those they serve. She's likely in trouble with the HOA also, you know. Perhaps they will allow her to continue to live in her unit, but perhaps not.

Bless her mean little heart.

How dare she assume that he was a trespasser. She only gave him shit because of the amount of melanin in his skin. She obviously didn't feel threatened by him, nor was it her job--or her place--to confront him and follow him in that manner. She was acting just like George Zimmerman, following him and harassing him. thank God she wasn't armed.

note that society not only does not believe she was entitled to threaten him with a gun but that society is currently busy punishing her for harassing him. I wasn't joking about the HOA, btw. This isn't over for her, and she made a bad mistake in "rushing to trouble" in her own home.

In any case, let's not project this sorry creature's obvious faults onto the many when those many in their collectively imperfect but real wisdom are so clearly rejecting them. We are not our lowest denominators, and those among us who are cannot be picked out from among the many by skin color. Though this one seemingly imagined she could.

22 days to the midterms, when we will see once again if the Enlightenment thinking of most in her building and work prevails or that of the worst of us does. What a shame the worst appreciate the power of the vote so much more than good people. Probably because they see it as a weapon to smite us with.

promoting that BS “economic anxiety” crap in the 2016 election. I’m willing to say maybe 10% of his support came from economic anxiety. And that 10% probably doesn’t approve of him anymore anyway.

Isn’t this really more about white people getting angry that black people are entering their *sacred space*? How sad a mentality that must be.

I would agree with fining people for wasting police resources on racist garbage. It’s ridiculous.
