Trucks to drive throughout Orlando, display graphic images of aborted fetuses

An anti-abortion group plans to display graphic images of aborted fetuses on trucks in Orlando starting today to encourage residents opposed to the procedure to register and vote.

The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform plans to drive large box trucks bearing images of photos from first-trimester abortions on Interstate 4 and other main roads, said Mike Schrimsher, the Florida director of the group, which has headquarters in California.

The group, which is targeting Florida and other swing states, has had similar initiatives in previous election years. It plans to drive the trucks in Orlando through Friday.

"For those who care about the sanctity of life, we want to make sure where candidates stand on the issue and [for voters] to include that in their decision-making process," Schrimsher said.
