Iowa caucuses 2008: Promises kept

In 2008, then-Senator Obama spoke to a full house on the eve of the Iowa caucuses, promising to make health care affordable and available to all Americans, cut taxes for the middle class, work to build a clean-energy economy, and end the war in Iraq.

Four years later, President Obama has kept the promises he made to Iowa caucus-goers in 2008. And four years later, this video is still a great watch. Pass it along to your networks.

If anything health care is a lot less affordable now than it was then. Costs continue to skyrocket and little has been done to stem that tide. I wouldn't mind seeing him take that on when he hits the campaign trail proper.
