Paul Ryan is going to be in Colorado today. In fact, in four hours he's going to be speaking at the high school I attended in the early 1960s. So I switched on the local teevee news, and sure enough the Denver Fox affiliate was showing the preparations for Ryan's visit. And the reporter was quick to note that there were already six people waiting in line. Six.

Thanks for the post. Looked like we had good crowds last week for Obama, even in the Springs, at the only safe place for him--Colorado College. FOX 31 showed a small group of Romney supporters down the street being preached to by Bobby Jindal. My New Orleans family was hoping Romney would choose Jindal so they'd get him out of LA. I really didn't think the Repubs could do worse than Nixon, Reagan, W and Cheney but they surprised me again.
