Comic artist Joe Kubert has passed at 85

Just saw the news on CNN while picking up lunch.

Another one of the legends gone.

He ranked right up there with Kirby as one of the greats and is a huge influence in my own comic book pencil work.

Not a flashy artist like so many of the 'popular' ones but a rock-solid illustrator with more drawing skills than most of the current working crop combined.
