Child sex traffickers

&feature=player_embedded

The video is 20 minutes long. It is an insightful view on the sex trafficking of boys in the Netherlands.

Human trafficking is a huge problem in the US and around the world. The more people learn the sooner this modern day slavery will end.

Why don't we jail these perverts on their first offense and let their fellow inmates take care of it ?

Never advocate any kind of rape, ever. It's wrong.

This is such a big problem that we can't and don't talk about enough.

Let's talk about it more. Let's talk about the Sandusky's and why is he like that? I believe that he was likely abused like that when he was young, and there was no one there to believe him or help him.

let's not go all shy and uncomfortable and embarrassed or defensive (I know some people do this. Now why, there could be many reasons - maybe they were abused when young and just can't talk about it, or sometimes people just can't think about horrific things like this and prefer to avoid it.

And like the Sandusky case, there are people around who should be protecting the children. Also like the Sandusky case this involved people in high places, in this case that would be the Dutch gov't.

If one can watch a 60 minutes video or any of the news shows/documentary investigations then one can watch this in my opinion.

It's almost regular fare to call someone a rw troll (or imply it) if you have a disagreement - that person may not have said anything trollish at all, but some people just can't back down or cease fire, they have to shoot back even if it's a ridiculous lie because they have nothing else but Shock and Awe.

I've also seen the pedo accusation here often enough too, and the rapist charge in innuendo. That is a pretty damn serious charge yet it's thrown around like it's nothing. We know how those stupid whisper games work. Next thing you know someone could be labeled that by buzzing PMs and the accused can't do a thing about it.

That is sure to shut down any discussion. So I guess you can add that sort of thing to the list of why things can't be talked about.

Now prostitutes are an entirely different situation and not at all in favor of the women. But I've worked (in professional situations) with women who had second jobs as strippers and in many cases they made more in one night than they did in a week on salary. I took the courtesy of not visiting their places of evening performances. I'm not going to degrade them for that choice. If it works for them, I'm cool with it. Hookers, on the other hand, are generally abused, degraded, underpaid, and subservient. That's just not right.

why not? women from other countries lured with promises and then forced. it is just another place for the criminal element to make money. the women are not making anything. online porn is huge with sex slaves.

not to mention the ever present prostitution.

it is not a matter of degrading anyone for a choice. it is a matter of standing up for the children and women that are not allowed the choice.

and no one knows who is there willingly and who is not.

so, with that thought, i ask. what is our responsibility in our entertainment. i think how we all abhor the slavery of a couple hundred years ago. and with what is happening today, how we say cant look, watch, see the pain, but it is really bad. this is not making sense to me.

According to the indictment, Davis lured victims to his operation with promises of modeling contracts and a glamorous lifestyle. He then forced them into a grueling schedule of dancing and performing at strip clubs in Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. When the clubs closed, Davis forced the victims to walk the streets until 4 or 5 a.m. propositioning customers. The indictment also alleged that he beat many of the victims to force them to work for him and that he also used physical abuse as punishment for disobeying the stringent rules he imposed to isolate and control them.18

Local and state law enforcement officers may unknowingly encounter sex trafficking when they deal with homeless and runaway juveniles; criminal gang activity; crimes involving immigrant children who have no guardians; domestic violence calls; and investigations at truck stops, motels, massage parlors, spas, and strip clubs. To this end, the authors offer various suggestions and indicators to help patrol officers identify victims of sex trafficking, as well as tips for detectives who investigate these crimes.

Locations, such as truck stops, strip clubs, massage parlors, and cheap motels, are havens for prostitutes forced into sex trafficking. Many massage parlors and strip clubs that engage in sex trafficking will have cramped living quarters where the victims are forced to stay.

it was hard to watch. and i watch it all. so many people who advocate porn hurts no one wont watch the video. yet, sneer at those of us that see the harm, ridicule a person when we know the pain, and they are ignorant.

i think about the past. how we vilify the practice of the past.

i wonder about the contradiction of participation in it today, without conscience.

he has been reading about.

about the problems in canada and the people being trafficked thru the midwest.

this BOY insists on being more educated than a lot of the adults. this BOY feels the responsibility toward these people abused and his ownership in their experience. his letting me know that he is educating himself, even in the uncomfortable lets me know that he can do this himself and i do not need to do this part. that he has figured out his role in this.

thanks for your post, in the most selfish of ways, that you gave me this to inform me. and i watched the tape. so when he discussed it, i was able to share.
