7:40 p.m.

Thousands of people jammed an intersection amid a light rain for a vigil Saturday evening for the victims of a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue earlier in the day. The gathering included prayers and singing in memory of those killed and wounded.

A “vote, vote, vote” chant broke out during the emotional gathering where some derided the nation’s political climate.

praising tRump and defending him. I did a double take and then remembered that the far right Israelis like him and Bibi. He said that anti-Semitism is all over the world and the pseudo pres isn't as bad as other leaders and the attacks in the US are nothing compared to attackers around the world and this same level of anti-Semitism has been higher in the US many times in our past history.

15. Anti-Semitism doesn't bother Netanyahu if it comes from what they consider their political allies.

Netanyahu has no problem with leaders such as Trump, Putin, or Viktor Orban of Hungary, regardless of whether they are anti-Semitic. He has never criticized trump for ignoring or encouraging white supremacy in the U.S., and endorsed Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, despite the fact that Kurz's coalition includes the "Freedom Party", which is a neo-Nazi party.

Over 80% of American Jews do NOT support trump, his ideology, and are loyal Democrats. That is a fact. I happen to be part of that 80% of American Jews.

It should be noted that in the same way that the Trump is the President, Netanyahu is the prime minister, they both preside over a divided populous, that do not represent a plurality in the respective countries.

The problem is once one starts down the road where you close your eye to racism and bigotry of your "friends", you end up becoming the racists and bigots you profess to abhor
