(70,688 posts)the a-hole hypocrisy of the SHITLER-ites challenging the laws for others in other catetories of LAW is apalling!

(205,320 posts)I was reminded of that when I was discussing this recently. But we have to remember that Trump has no knowledge of nor respect for the rule of law. He just expects to get whatever he wants whenever he wants it. He thinks that's how the presidency works.

(21,714 posts)It isn't the same thing with Cruz. I'm not sure what would have happened if Carnival Cruz won the nomination, probably would have gone to the Supreme Court. Cruz's mom was living in Canada when he was born.

(70,688 posts)(Or, am sure to be corrected, did we HAVE a U.S. military base in Panama?" Don't matter because his PARENTS were U.S. Citizens. It don't matter that his dad was in the military, all that matters is that the dad (and/or mom) were U.S. citizens.
And, no, it don't matter where Carnival CRUZ's mother was living because she was/is a U.S.C. Unless SHITLER wants to change all the rules!1

(50,912 posts)Canadian law at time did not allow dual citizenship and both his parents voted in their elections. If correct, he does not have citizenship in any country because he renounced Canadian citizenship during campaign.

(70,688 posts)He *did* have citizenship/dual. He renounced the Canadian part for expediency during the campaign.

(32,003 posts)If he "does not have citizenship in any country" then how is he a U.S. Senator? The Constitution requires senators be U.S. citizens. He us a U.S. citizen thru his mother who was born in the U.S. It matters not what Canadian law is or was.

(70,688 posts)Direct answer to direct question, what I got against Calgary is nurturing the birth of Carnival CRUZ.
However, my researching "Calgary" (thanks, Al GORE) will doubtlessly reveal wonders!1

And don't forget The Flames !! I still have my autographed photo of Lanny MacDonald (aka The 'Stash).
