Once The Midterms Are Over, Expect To Hear From Robert Mueller Again

Once The Midterms Are Over, Expect To Hear From Robert Mueller Again
Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office has kept things pretty quiet in the run-up to the midterm elections. That’s likely to change after Tuesday.

Chris Geidner
BuzzFeed News Reporter

..............

While it’s true that none of the charges, thus far, have been against Trump campaign staff for allegations that they took illegal actions as part of their campaign efforts, some of the allegations made by Mueller or other federal prosecutors have referenced contact or attempts at contact between Russian officials or agents and members of the Trump campaign. And Mueller’s investigation has covered a lot of ground beyond what’s appeared in charges.

If the special counsel’s office turns after the midterms, as evidence suggests it could, to taking actions against members of Trump’s 2016 campaign and his inner circle, Mueller will once again find himself in the spotlight — and the target of the president’s wrath.

If he has solid evidence against trump, it's interfering IMO to withhold it. Hoyt Nov 2018 #5

Need at majority in at least the House to keep the pressure on Trump and start offering legislation on that shows commitment to a Dem platform.

I don't get it. If there is something there that will negatively influence the election against the republicans, shouldn't he come out with it ahead of time?

Not going to be accused of “election interference” by releasing anything that would make someone look bad - you know, kinda’ like Comey did.

Mueller is brilliant. He simply won't play Trump's game of Simon Says. I suspect he knows that Trump and his flying monkeys would distort anything he does pre-election.

I'm praying for tons of indictments to come pouring down after next Tuesday. You know? Like Christmas before Thanksgiving.

But, I know withholding it is considered the thing to do for some reason.
