Triggering Language in (R) candidate ads.
Caught the end of one as I was walking through a room with a TV on. The announcer in the ad said something to the effect of: If you don’t vote for (insert local incumbent Republicant’s name here) you’re letting (insert our (awesome!) local D candidate’s name here) and Nancy Pelosi (I forget what verb they used!) enact or giving them time to (plan nefariously!) their “Socialist agenda”. Now this is what really got me. THEN the announcer said “Vote for ((R) name) AND THE AMERICA WE LOVE WILL RISE.” ?!?! Anyone else out there heard that line? The America they love will rise. Begs all kinds of jokes but...
