3. I love Beto.

I was a 12 year old kid when JFK ran -- and I had very Repub parents. I worked for JFK. I have the same feelings about Beto just like I had back in 1960 when I looked at Jack Kennedy. I hope that being elected Senator from TX is a stepping stone to the White House for Beto.

2. It is rather amusing that a cross between Mr. Haney and the Pillsbury Doughboy

is running on a "Tough As Texas" slogan.

I remember years ago deciding to take 290 (?) home to Houston from Austin and really needing a bathroom break yet at every lil gas station there was a "Bush Country" sign. I decided to test my bladder by remaining on the road. I'm sure the same area(s) are Thump/Cruz territory these days.
