Did anyone just now see that disgusting ad

on CBS ....

"Things are getting better. Vote Republican.". Showing a woman marking a ballot for Rethugs.

I'm assuming this was shown Nationwide?

Why do we practically never see ads from the Democrats???!!!

If things are great then I wouldn't need to be reminded they are great.

I must see 10 ads for Republicans for every ad for a Dem on TV here. Getting really sickening.

There's been one airing here in WA for the past week or so. Basically says vote for a Dem Congress.

Why waste money running ads in marketing areas without a competitive race?

13. Our television is a movie player. That's all it does. Netflix and DVDs.

No broadcast, no cable, no satellite, no advertising.

I know that crap is out there, but I don't have to suffer it.

We quit television when they were in high school. They coped.

My kids have never had any traditional television in their own homes. Once you break the habit I guess you never go back. They don't know why anybody would bother to pay for cable television or even program their television for broadcast channels. Living in the city they have fiber optic internet connections. That's it. An amazing upgrade from the medium speed DSL connection my wife and I enjoy.

My oldest kid and his wife don't even have a DVD player. Their television is Chromecast or nothing. They subscribe to a few sports, sports that have fully embraced the internet.

The NFL certainly hasn't. Best the NFL offers is "replays."

I used to watch NFL sometimes with my father-in-law but he quit football when the medical data against it became convincing. My father-in-law, my wife, and myself, all have various levels of medical training and experience. Traumatic brain injuries are not "sport." My wife deals with people who have traumatic brain injuries every day in her work.

The last Superbowl I recall watching there was a wardrobe accident. How silly stunts like that could be a bigger deal than brain injuries, I don't know.

Some significant fraction of my own mental health issues may be a consequence of head injuries I've suffered.

I saw it and have seen one that is similar to the one that just played. I think the ads are misleading. Donald Trump did not inherit an economy with double digit unemployment. He also did not inherit an economy that was losing jobs. This economy is still Obama's economy.
