Just like television, radio and print media. All of this stuff is paid for by ad revenue so that you can watch it without having to shell out extra money to support the distribution of it. I don't know why this is so difficult for you to understand. If a media outlet is showing you video content, they have to either charge you to see it or pay for it by showing you an advertisement. We've only been doing shit this way since the first newspapers.

Just like i dont see ads when i play facebook videos i think who ever does these can do so in the same fashion. Like you click on the video a player pops up with a print ad on one side and the video in a window next to it .
