(14,565 posts)4. It was always nonsense...Shalala ran a great campaign
I mentioned that here and on countless sites of all types. This is my district. I returned to Florida and registered Democratic in late 2008. Yet I have been virtually ignored by Democratic candidates until Donna Shalala showed up. Next thing you know I am receiving emails every day and flyers galore and phone calls. It was like I was back in Clark County, NV again.
I was never contacted by Gillum or Nelson.
I also won a nice wager on this race and it looks like I have some crowing to do on Predictit, based on all the right wing creeps there who thought Salazar was a cinch and mocked my comments saying it was ridiculous to think this race could shift all the way over the top.
BTW, Go Canes!
