Duncan is one example & the Rep Collins from Maine I think who has been charged with several crimes. It used to be any taint of legal problems would get a candidate automatically be ineligible to even run for office. Now, at least with the Pubs, as long as you're a Pub, the voters don't care what you do, legal or not!

New Orleans (a HEAVILY) D district sent a R to House when our choice was Jefferson or Joeseph Cao.
