I think 3 of the so-called losers are 3 of our biggest winners

Stacey Abrams, Beto O'Rourke, & Andrew Gillum

Just put it into perspective what those three folks did. Yes, they came out on the losing end in their elections last night, but not only did they almost win in red states (and Abrams still is hoping to see the outcome changed in GA), but way more than half of America absolutely fell in love with them along the way.

In my blue state of New York, I don't know of any other Democratic politician who could possibly compete with any of Abrams, O'Rourke, or Gillum if any one of them resided here in New York. I like Governor Cuomo alright, but if Andrew Gillum or Stacey Abrams were New Yorkers, either one of them would easily be sitting in Albany as we speak.

And while I'm glad that Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is changing her conservative stripes and trying to sound more like a Democrat these days, I don't trust her one bit. I'd trade her in a heartbeat for Beto O'Rourke any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

While I would love to have Abrams, O'Rourke, and Gillum in my state, we are very fortunate to have people like them in the South who are finally starting to change the tide in that area of the country. Yes, it's heartbreaking that they didn't win last night, but they won the hearts of most Americans and we certainly have not heard the last from them. If more Democrats start taking pages from the books of those 3 folks, America will easily become a lot more blue than it is right now.

Hats off to 3 of our best: Beto O'Rouke, Stacey Abrams, and Andrew Gillum. With folks like them on our side, the future looks brighter than ever.

There were races in each of their states that Dems won that likely wouldn't have happened if they weren't driving GOTV.

Their energy might not have overcome the latent assholery in their states, but the turnout made it possible for others to prevail in focused districts even with the lies and fear mongering turned up to 11.

Just ousting Pete Sessions in TX and Karen Handel in GA was great, not to mention Donna Shalala winning in FL.

Of course, we all wanted them to win; it would have been wonderful if they had. But all three were uphill battles to say the least.

Also, Stacey is still running; we'll see what happens. Whether she wins or not, she faced overwhelming odds.

In particular, I am delighted that a black woman almost got elected governor of Georgia - and it's still too close to call. That would have been unimaginable a few years ago.

9. It is the True New South! Exciting times ahead.

Imagine Georgia for example with decent health care for all. The demand will be bubbling up because Stacey's success has shown everyone that only nasty narrow-minded voter suppression is preventing Georgia from becoming a great state.

I fell sorry for Kentucky, not yet moving toward the light--still the state with people with the most missing teeth and Mitch the Plantation Overseer trying hard to keep it that way.

I would rather have Gillum, O'Rourke, or Abrams anytime rather than Kirsten Gillebrand. I believe at least these 3 would be trustworthy. I do not believe Gillebrand is trustworthy at all. I thought all three of these gave us a different perspective on our political scene. It was so sad and I am still in hopes all will turn out well for Abrams.
