I couldn't be happier about the NY State Senate especially. Finally all the progressive bills that passed the Assembly but couldn't make it to the floor of the State Senate have a real chance. New York is true blue.

We spend too much time thinking about the top. But these state legislatures have a lot to do with the gerrymandering. This can help a lot.

11. And in NC we broke the veto proof super majorities the GOP-ers had....

.... even with the super gerrymandered the GOP goons put in place after 2010. Dems won every statewide judicial seat and now have a 5-2 majority on the NC Supreme Court.

More good things will come .... feeling better about 2020, redistricting etc.

this year. There was one special election only for state Senate.

We did get back our House, though, as you said.

Jared Polis is our governor, and now both the House and Senate are blue. Definitely good news here!
