This is an incredibly disturbing turn of events.
This is an unprecedented power grab that sets the stage for trump to have dictator-like power over a large part of the government.
He will crush the Mueller investigation and there is little on paper anyone can do about it.

You have a front row seat to what may be the biggest crisis ever to face our federal government system.

These are the "interesting times" mentioned in the old curse: "May you live in interesting times."

Buckle up securely. There will be turbulence.

Nixon had the Justice Department and the FBI under his feet after firing the AG and Archibald Cox, the special counsel. The democratic controlled House brought him down. Democrats will take control of the House, investigations will be professional and thorough. A big fucking problem was created for Trump yesterday by Urban and Surburban voters.

It was a Republican, Barry Goldwater, who went to the White House and told Nixon to resign or be impeached, and likely convicted.

Trump and today’s Republicans no longer give a single shit about laws, shame, or the good of the country. If they did, they wouldn’t have pulled off all the reprehensible lawbreaking they’ve already committed.

Cornered animals fight harder. Trump & Co. are a cult, built around a demagogue, and it will not go quietly. It will throw everything it’s got into the mix, and dodge, delay, distract, obfuscate, etc. To think otherwise is a fantasy.

Consider the death-cults of 1945 in Germany and Japan. They let the Allies rip them to pieces in the end, rather than spare untold lives. Or Jim Jones. Or Manson. Absurd examples, I know, but the mechanics are the same— all committed to an autocratic male figure, each of whom would destroy everything rather than walk away. Trump isn’t going to walk quietly into the sunset, or even a prison cell. He’d flee to Russia before that happened. Sound crazy? You bet, just like 45 & the Rs are.

he knows he's guilty of obstruction of justice and filthy money laundering. This proves he knows he's going down.

It's going to be a catastrophic mess, but he's going down.

We will survive this.

Last night's election means we don't have to march: We spoke at the ballot box and frump heard us, loud and clear.

This was a so sorry, not, reminder to those, Jeff Sessions, who kissed the ring and were discarded like trash.

crisis as a plot for a whole season of The Apprentice: White House Edition. He already treats the Presidency like it's a reality TV show with Himself naturally in the starring role. He might think the drama would get great ratings.

I'll personally be surprised if he doesn't try to shut down Mueller.
