now that he no longer has to pander to Trump-lovers in his home state. There's been some talk the Republicans might try to entice him to switch parties, but he sounds like he's heading in the opposite direction.

by Chris Cuomo on CNN. He said he's committed to doing whatever is best for the people of SC and it doesn't matter so much to him if it's a Democratic or a Republican initiative as long as it's the right thing for his constituents. Since Republicans have virtually no history of doing what's best for "The People" beyond themselves and their wealthy donors, I don't see this "man of the people" becoming a Republican.
