...In college I had a pet rat. Her name was Buffy and she slept with my daughter and rode on my shoulder and greeted people at the door. She also chased my friend lab and he ran away from her. I miss her...

His name was Gino. We would hand feed him peanut butter. He would start to bite down, feel a finger, and stop biting. He knew! He was a good rat. As I recall, he was being sold by the pet store as a feeder rat, so we saved him from a horrible fate.
