... but what keeps Whittaker from viewing Mueller's evidence and intentions, then passing the information to whomever is "next on the list" and compromising the entire investigation?

With the fact, yes fact, that this is an unconstitutional and illegal appointment (never mind the obvious reasons he must recuse), is there any way he can be prevented from reviewing this information?

Obviously he cannot remain in this position. Whittaker has stated his opinion of the Mueller investigation many, many times, and has stated his belief that the entire investigation is illegitimate, irrespective of the indictments and convictions already produced.

While going through the legal process of correcting this farce of an appointment, will Whittaker be allowed to gain the information and pass it on to the principals of the probe? Is it too late to keep Mueller's hand hidden while all this is happening?

Sometimes I can easily imagine seeing bunches of idling private jets on a tarmac full of limos, preparing to hustle certain folks out of the country...

Then perhaps any agency or individual normal reporting to the AG can simply say "no, you have no authority over us, go away". ???

Anyone know the answer to this? I can only blindly guess...

4. There are supposed to be rules about DOJ impartiality,

but we all know this administration refuses to follow "the rules" and that Dear Leader installed him there for the sole purpose of covering various asses hanging out in the wind, especially him and his whole grifting family.

I don't know that simply refusing to allow him access would even be allowed. Who would enforce that, and how?

What do they do? Do they padlock the doors and file cabinets, change all the passwords, start sneaking copies of evidence and documentation out of the office, as in the case of Watergate? Install armed guards to protect the perimeter?

All the grand talk about 'we've got the House' doesn't mean a damn thing until January. The threat of repercussions may rein in some of the slightly less assholish amongst them, but with the monster in the background hovering over those who just don't care (or who believe Daddy T will protect them), I just don't see how to control it.
