Future of the Republican Party

Whether it's 2020 or 2024 latest, will the Party reject or continue the Trump control of their policies? Is Trump a passing fad and once he's out of the equation, will the Party just return to pre-2016?

They are a toxic cocktail of lies and racism and every one of them is complicit, and none of them will own their guilt. That is not recovery

The dysfunction will continue albeit in a different, rebranded form. It will be old whine in new bottles.

This isn't a trump issue. Millions upon millions that tune into Fox News and rush Limburger are all programmed to hate liberals /democrats. If trump is gone another guy steps in. Why do people not understand this.

He is a politically incorrect advocate for their policies and politics. Racial hatred, bigotry, and misogyny have been their way since the 1960's. trump hasn't changed them, he has exposed them.
