...the gist of it was that Whitaker has made "regular visits" to the White House, and that he and Trump have had what is described as a "cordial" relationship.

Make no mistake, this was well planned in advance. Trump administered the loyalty oath and the former hot tub pitchman got the gig.

That he says he doesn't know Whitaker is a lie. He doesn't want to discuss the fact that Whitaker is a shill, so he says that he doesn't know him. Whitaker is smiling.
