I think if just one person were to say something like this on TV, it would be something. Kind of telling that it's absent from the dialogue.

Not alot of Walter Cronkites these days, that are universally respected. Sad to say, but it may have to be the charismatic parent or spouse of a loved one killed in one of these incidents. Alot of good people had to die in the civil rights movement in order to dis-empower the racists.
