A Close Encounter of the First Kind, occurred when Jeb Bush, the Governor of Florida, was allowed to cancel a recount of votes, in his state, which would have kept his brother, George W. Bush Junior from gaining a second term as president.
Here is a close encounter of the Second Kind: He served in Alabama politics for 26 years. In 2006 Siegelman was convicted on federal felony corruption charges and sentenced to seven years in federal prison. But following the trial, many questions were raised by both Democrats and Republicans, and allegations of prosecutorial misconduct in his case.
A Close Encounter of the Third Kind could occur as an angry mob of racist, antisemitic, sexists destroy lives, property and the US Constitution, in a riot, which destroys voting records; or Republican could simply put the Democratic hopeful in prison, like other mobsters did with Governor Siegelman (D), in Alabama.
