Axelrod tweeted several minutes ago that Trump seems "particularly unhinged" since Tuesday.

Getting a LOT of responses already on Twitter:

I don’t know whether it was the bad results on Tuesday or what, but @realDonaldTrump has seemed particularly unhinged since.

For the first time in his privileged life, he's being held to account.

He's lashing out because he fears that he might spend the rest of his life in prison. It wasn't supposed to end like this. Not for him. He was special. He was above the law. Daddy said so.

He was out of breath and looked wild-eyed. Even though he was talking about the election as the best ever for republicans, his body language and tone belied how he really feels.

1 is fully medicated.
4 is normally unhinged.
7 is maximally unhinged.
Anything over 7 means he's been carted to the looney bin.

I'm loving it.

But I think there's more to it than just the BLUE TSUNAMI that crashed over him.

DJT Jr. is about to be indicted. Along with Roger Stone.

Bob Mueller is about to drop a bombshell next week.

The IRS is going to hand over his tax records to the Dems in January.

His new pick for AG, Matt Wise-acre is about to have his ass handed to him for his part in the fraud of World Patent Marketing - people were scammed for millions, including disabled veterans who gave their life savings to him based on his personal assurances. The FTC shut WPM down and restitution was supposed to be forthcoming, but has stalled. Whitaker was going to be trmpie's savior, but he will not survive the coming days, much less weeks. That and the fact that his very appointment is unconstitutional: even an interim head of DoJ MUST be confirmed by the Senate.

His comments to the press this a.m, before leaving for France should have every citizen profoundly disturbed at how much he has slipped inside his delusions. Not too long ago he could give the impression he was in touch with reality. Now he is a raving, eye bulging maniac. He repeats the same phrases over and over, sometimes verbatim. Once he gets started on a rant, he barely comes up for air. He is petulant and rude to anyone he decides is not respectful enough toward him. He lashes out at perceived enemies by revoking press passes. He calls names and says the rudest thing he can think of....like a spoiled child. In short, he is out of control and has lost the ability to maintain any semblance of normal. The question is why? What has changed?

Simple really. The pressure has increased exponentially since the election. His power to control the situation has decreased and even in his delusional state, he recognized the balance of power has shifted. He flails, rants and raves but the inevitable end to this story won’t be what he envisioned. He thinks he can hold off the consequences to all of his past misdeeds but he can’t. In fact, he is commiting more impeachable offenses with every passing day. The next weeks and months will be very interesting to those who have watched in horror since he appeared on the political scene. His base are in for a very rude awakening, too. His demise will happen in front of their eyes and even they will know he is barking mad, lost in delusion.

I hope for all our sakes the Congress will do their job and cut to the chase. I know they are trying to pick their way through the best legal path to take but we need a resolution to this sad, dangerous time. This must end for the good of everyone. Our country needs sanity again.
