Edited to add video of John Kelly at Aisne-Marne, which is the place Trump was to visit. Weather difficulties? Cant see any cause for that.

(146,288 posts)our WWI dead? Because it was raining? The others are there. Where is Trump, the slacker.
This should lead the news this evening and shame Donald J. Trump forever.

Just another lie from Trump.

(146,288 posts)That he was not dishonors those who sacrificed their lives in WWI. The shame is real. We should broadcast this everywhere.
Where was Trump? Why did he dishonor our war dead?

(12,448 posts)Since there were so many heads of state there, supposedly braving the "downpour." Not a sign of an umbrella. Trump just didn't want to go. The rain excuse was complete bullshit; he's been pictured playing golf in the rain.

(12,232 posts)The rain excuse was clearly BS. Another day, another Trump lie.

It's very hard to believe that @realDonaldTrump had to cancel his attendance at a U.S. WW1 cemetery outside Paris today because of bad weather. There's a bit of rain, yes, but a helicopter could easily fly. And Elysee let reporters know yesterday that he probably wouldn't go!
