at that postal service center in Opalocka(?), FL, not able to be counted if they were postmarked in time? Obviously if the building is on lock down as a crime scene there was no way to get the votes in on time.

(14,531 posts)The ballots are at a post office that the MegaBomber used. So they were stuck there. (that's the story and their sticking to it.)

(7,398 posts)centers a few days prior to an election and effectively shut down those votes? I'm not saying that is what happened in this case, but there has to be more than just me wondering about it. comments welcome as I may be missing something here.

(7,398 posts)If the address is appropriate they should be counted. I read somewhere that it was "dozens" so maybe no impact. Still seems odd that they would be ignored do to a terrorist act.
