About 15-20 years ago, I reserved the name DoctorDollars.com intending to use it as a financial advice site, but before I got around to it, someone offered me $300 for the name. I had other things I wanted to do, so I sold it. And the name is still parked at GoDaddy.

Chances are, this name was bought by someone hoping to sell it to the campaign. It's like playing the lotto, where you get to choose your "ticket" based on what you think might happen in the future.

I had a repair business with the name of my small Western Washington town and the word "laptop" after it, and I abandoned the domain over ten years ago, as laptops went from something that people had repaired, to something that people merely disposed of a few years later when buying a new one. Sort of like with toasters, my grandparents would have a broken one fixed, but nobody does that anymore.

I suppose it would work if you had a retail store in the greater Seattle area that sold mostly laptops, but these days, people either succumb to a Best Buy ad for an impulse purchase, or they buy them online direct from a manufacturer for a planned purchase.
