A wildfire has ignited near CSU in #SanBernadino. This fire is spreading rapidly and may create a dangerous situation for local residents in the area. Please monitor developments and be prepared to evacuate if prompted by emergency personnel. #UniversityFire #CaliforniaWildfire

People are unbelievable. We have an "Extreme red flag warning" until 5 PM Tues and these psychos try to start fires! I hope Karma nails these asses if the police don't.

That isn't that uncommon either. That is what started either the Cedar (2003) or the Witch (2007) fire, I forget which one. They WERE two of the top 5 worst fires until last year. Now they are #4 and #6. It is really scary to know that just about anything can cause so much harm and destruction under the right weather conditions.

I am not sure how those two started. A car that was dragging a loose chain underneath started a tiny fire on Sat AM in San Diego but it was put out quickly. Just about anything can start one it seems.

plainly suggesting she suspected arson. I think she probably meant the northern Camp and southern Woolsey fires.
(Don't know if it was the same anchor who described the Thousand Oaks suspect as mid-eastern minutes after her station interviewed a witness describing him as "white or hispanic".)

The Cedar Fire was started by an injured hunter who set a signal fire at sundown on a windy Santa Ana day.

Did the hunter start it as a signal because he was lost and needed help and it got out of control?
