Are PBS and NPR safe with a blue House, do you think? How about the US Postal Service?

These are some of the national institutions that make life good. I’ve been worried about the stated goals of defunding the small amounts that help PBS and NPR.

USPS doesn’t run on tax funding, but is self funded. I know they’ve wanted to privatize and make services people rely on more expensive.

Amazon and other businesses might have some serious objections to them going at USPS too hard. Although sears might have limped on a bit longer if we'd lost our postal service. But i've noticed most of the cheaper shipping options at most online places use USPS for at least part of the delivery process.

that the USPS pre-fund retirement for workers not yet born. That's why it can't make a profit.

There will be hard trade offs made to pass budgets through the Senate that Trump will sign in order to prevent shut downs, not raising the debt ceiling is also a hostage ploy Republicans may try. They may suffer some more cuts, but I think total defunding is now off the table.
