C-Span is actually interesting the is morning: why people won't vote...

Among the interesting findings from a survey of those who don't plan to vote - if they could pick anyone who would get them to go to the polls it would be Hillary Clinton. If I heard the interview with the surveyor correctly, about 40% don't plan to vote, but 7% would change their mind and come out to vote for Hillary.

A few callers reported the same sentiments. At the very least, it's something worth thinking about. Even though this thread is not intended to debate Hillary (again), it seems that for unmotivated independents Hillary is still a strong motivator.

To make Ryan seem somewhat less of a colossal screw up.

Some of the callers were in favor of Hillary, but I suppose some could come out against her.

I saw some report yesterday about "diseffected voters" saying something to the effect that a majority of these people voted for Obama in '08 and are some silent voting bloc that could be a factor come November. I find the timing interesting as this "report" comes out the same week the Rove SuperPac and RNC run a ton of ads trying to knock down the likability of the President and try to coddle the "soft middle" with "it's OK not to vote for Obama". Leave it to C-SPIN to play into this new meme...
