As he will face a Runoff in Mississippi against a Candidate that has literally supported a public hanging....
Rep. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.) demanded a public apology for all Mississippians from congressional-hopeful Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.), who drew harsh criticism for a line made while campaigning in early November.
If he invited me to a public hanging, Id be on the front row, Hyde-Smith is heard saying in a video posted to Twitter by journalist and blogger Lamar White Jr. Sunday morning.
Thompson released a statement Monday, calling the senators comments on public hanging beyond disrespectful and offensive, adding that Mississippis history includes one of the highest numbers of public lynching, that we know of, than any other state in this country.

In Mississippi. Mike Espy, the Democratic U.S. Senate candidate in the runoff, is African-American. This could be another PICK UP for the Dems similar to Alabama that no one would have thought could happen in the deep, deep south.
So, if you can, send Mike Espy a dollar or more as his opponent is a straight up piece of Republican racist TRASH and the term U.S. Senator-Elect (D) from Mississippi Mike Espy has a WAY BETTER name to it.

I'd need to see a serious analysis that said this race was viable. The aggregate Republican vote was 58% (which was the percentage that Roger Wicker won by). I don't see a lot of Chris McDaniel votes shifting over.
