(32,854 posts)Stan Lee has been at death's door for months. I think the newspaper obituaries and such were probably ready to go, Luckevich and other cartoonists were also ready no doubt.
Not that any of us are happy that he's gone. But that's the newspaper business, they are rarely caught flat-footed.
