The loser not in the runoff was McDaniel who is significantly crazier than whatever her name is. Espy will not get McDaniel’s votes.

Hopefully Republican turn out will be down ... I mean it's the holidays and all. We gotta spike Democratic turnout.

With the win in Arizona and what looks to me like a probable win in Florida, a win in this one would do more than keep us at 51-49, it would show that for every Blue seat that Trump turned Red in a Red state, we did him one bed and turned Red seats Blue in two previously solid Red state and one Purple state.

That would throw very very cold water on the Republican attempt to "spin" their crushing midterm defeat into some kind of victory because of what happened with the Senate.

who knows? The original special election had 2 Republicans splitting the vote and then him so the assumption has been that other set of Republicans would vote for her. But her nasty racist "public hanging" remarks should wake some folk up on our side down there I would hope.

I expect the runoff would still have less voters overall anyway so GOTV would be crucial to even make an attempt to go for it.
