are breaking my heart.

I wish I could send these torrential rains to that area. We sure don't need them here, in our sea of blue-tarped houses. They are predicting 10 inches of rain through midweek.

Hopefully they are safe and don't realize yet that they have been reported missing.

I live in NORCAL and have many friends in that area. A couple are still looking for friends and relatives. Many lost everything.
The donations and volunteering has been incredible however. The best of America. Makes my heart feel good to see so many stepping up. I have given a couple of bikes, some sleeping bags, some older electronics loaded with music, pet supplies and some gift cards myself. We may have a family come stay here too. Everyone is stepping up.

This is probably 10'000 people or more, permanently displaced, INSTANTLY. Most lost their jobs as well if they worked in Paradise or the area. Going to be a long slog.
