...Nate Silver, as expected the President took a slight, very slight hit from last week's selection of Eddie the Fucking Parasite^TM as Lurch the Fucking Stiff's^TM running mate. I suspect there will be another slight slip during the Republicant circle jerk/fuckfest in the next two weeks.

But given the way the polls look and given the Obama campaign's response to every fucking lie by Lurch/Eddie and their fucking surrogates/familiars/minions and, finally, given (at least to me) the awakening of the press corps. I'd say things are looking solid at this point.

However.

This is no time to get fucking complacent. The finish line is still two months away and you never let the opponent off the mat.

(Oh, and I'm fucking ecstatic that the income tax debacle has not gone away. Shout out to Horsey Wife^TM).
