I believe the narcissist inside Trump is dying to talk to Mueller.

Trump believes he is better and smarter than everybody. He believes he could answer Mueller's questions and end the investigation all by himself. Right now his lawyers have convinced him it would be very bad for him to talk to Mueller. Trump could change his mind anytime.
He has very bad self control.

I don't know if Mueller will subpoena Trump our not. I want him to, but Mueller may choose not to. I hope Mueller can find a way to bait the narcissist inside Trump to voluntarily answer questions under oath. That would be a game changer.

I may be wrong, but I don't think the investigation is going to end any time soon. The guilty are dragging things out. Mueller wants to turn Stone and his partners in crime. They all decided to fight, they lied to the grand jury. Now Mueller has to use the same process he used against Manafort. Thats going to take time.

Mueller may decide to subpoena Trump. That would take months to be resolved by the courts.

"I can set the story straight."

They believe they can convince anyone of their reality... I don't they they are evil, but their minds have constructed as false reality to shield them from shame and mistakes they have made.
