I can't believe this never crossed my mind. If a Democrat becomes governor, then he could order an investigation into Donald Trumps campaign donation to Pam Bondi in 2016 which was a clear prid pro quo for her not joining Florida to the Trump U lawsuit. Since he wasn't President yet, its not under the authority of the House. Damn! I don't know if Gillum would do it(unlikely), but I wonder if that might be Trumps "interest" here?
