Saw an article in our Dallas paper that said he had TX lobbyists and various politicians running around Iowa for him. They never did mention the name of those TX lobbyists but I imagine those are the deep pockets he is reaching into. Question is, will those lobbyists now pack up and come back to TX. Given his track record of giving special deals/office appointments to those lobbyists, they may stick with him for a little bit because he is dangling a federal position in front of them. But sooner or later they will call his bluff.
